Who are we?

Founded in 1989, CanAssistance is first and foremost a provider of medical and general assistance to travellers. Already a leader in its market when it acquired a competitor, Canami Inc., in 1993, it continues to develop its expertise through constant innovation.

Over the years, CanAssistance has become the benchmark for expertise in assistance, and has developed an extremely enviable network of international partners.

Today, in addition to travel assistance services, CanAssistance provides health assistance and general assistance , as well as services designed especially for workers based abroad.

Our team of assistance providers’ most distinguishing asset is their empathetic, transparent approach—an approach characterized by respect. Every situation is different, requiring adaptability of action on the medical, technical and financial fronts, not to mention the all-important human aspect. Team members receive comprehensive initial training, and upgrade their knowledge and expertise through continuous-training sessions, developed according to their respective responsibilities.
